I am thinking of getting this game, but I was wondering if it'll work on win 8 64 bit; searching the forum didn't result in anything useful. I know the product description on the store page says the game will be compatible, but that didn't work out for me with Commandos 2 (on Steam), so I thought I should ask.

The game card shows that Windows 8 is supported for Celtic Kings so, yes, it will run on that OS. If you have trouble running it, then please contact our Support department :)

Sorry, I have a game (on Steam) which is supposed to be compatible with Win 8, but isn't working, so I am just being careful now, lol. Thanks for the help! :]

It runs on Windows 8 but it doesn't handle GPU scaling at all, so in order to play the game you have to play it stretched.

It is a disappointment to be sure because it is a good game, but it seems to have been patched somehow by a person who did not completely know what he was doing.

On the other hand a game like Baldur's Gate handles GPU scaling 100% fine. The GoG support department was helpful but of no help.
