Hi.

I'm having trouble with this game.

Battles backgrounds will turn blue instead of showing the scenario while playing with Reynard or Lucienne. I'm not receiving any experience or whatever from battles(not sure if it is supposed to be like this) and the game shut down(go back to desktop) if I choose Ylianne from characters selection screen.

I'm plenty sure it's not hardware problems, as the game runs smoothly and other characters will display the battle scenario perfectly(didn't tested all the others, though).

The only other possibility I can think about is that the game won't run fine on Windows XP(my OS).

Strange, perhaps contact the developer directly, in case it's just some kind of rare bug with the game itself? XP seems to be listed among the compatible OS options.

I'll try that, later.

about the OS being listed among the compatible OS options, a couple weeks ago I've acquired another game(not GOG's) and were told that it would run on Win XP(it was listed among the compatibility OSs), but the game won't even start(in that case, everybody using Win XP weren't able to start the game as well), so I won't be surprised if this game won't run (fine) either.

Contacting the devs is probably your best bet, but first, perhaps try re-installing ( and possibly re-downloading ) the game. Perhaps some of the files are broken.

In GOG, the developers contact YOU!

Anyway, this background problem seems to be an issue related to display resolutions. If possible, please change your resolution to 1600x900 or lower and try running the game again.

If it works (or not) please do tell us about it :)

Just want to mention I run the game on XP and I have no issues at all. It's definitely not the OS that is to blame.

I just gave up. Changing resolution won't change a thing.
