Martyj83: Hey. After playing for an hour or so, I've saved my game and quit for a few days. Went back to play it and my save was no longer there, only "New Game" as an option. I tried again and noticed when launching the main menu after prompting to play base game or DLC, it says it's signing in to GOG. However this time (for whatever reason) it failed to sign in and my save game was back again. So I disconnected my net connection before launching so that it can't sign in, then I can actually play my game. Any better solution than turning off the internet? Or why this might be happening?
Thanks
I had the same problem about an hour ago.
The solution for me was to muck about with the save files.
Carrion stores both an offline and an online folder for saves. I'm not at my PC now, but it's saved at something like
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Phobia\Carrion\saves (for the offline saves), and another at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Phobia\Carrion\gog(somenumber)saves for online saves.
To get it to work, I just copied the saves from the offline folder to the online one.
It's annoying that the game saves in different folders, and has difficulty consistently logging in, but this workaround helped me get my saves to show up when it did log in.
Let us know if it works.
