Vlad: Unlike the 3Dfx wrapper, this patch does not change the internal resolution and there is no texture filtering.
I don't get the point of this patch, he's do nothing exept bypass dosbox.
Strijkbout: If you have a fast computer you won't need this, I on the other hand can't run this game at a desent framerate under dosbox and 3dfx emulation is a real slideshow for me. I don't get the point of this patch, he's do nothing exept bypass dosbox.

Anyone here know how to change the volume of the music with this patch?
I really like that it makes the game much smoother and even allows me to use the Steam overlay (I have a lot of friends on Steam, so having that ability is great to me), but the music seems louder than it should be with this patch. The options menu locks out the ability to change the sound options, so what can I do to remedy this?
(note, I'm on Windows 7 64-bit, if that helps in any way)

My notebook specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 @ 2.00Ghz
4,00GB RAM
Mobile Intel® GM45 Express (pretty crappy)
The DosBox version is absolutely unplayable. I think I might get something around 10fps.
With this Win95 patch, things change a lot. It's playable; I guess it comes to 30-40fps. Still, isn't smooth and the fps isn't consistent sometimes.
Is there anything that I've missed or simply hardware limitation?

The Windows patch has worked pretty well so far for me. Much better than that sluggish DOSBox hardware-accelerated mode. Hasn't crashed on me either. :)

My antivirus Comodo is detecting this as as Trojan downloader....I already submitted it as a FP. Will try again in a few days. Same thing happened with an update to Blood a few months ago.

ini edits dont seem to be working for me to change resolution,
still stays same. it basically appears to be a low res, software version, whatever i put in
3dfx accel runs, but, for me at anything more than 1024x768, poor performance.
any help on the ddraw ini edits? please what am i doing wrong? i change height and width to native res, but nothing changes.

Works more than perfect in Windows XP 64bits, with an ol' geforce 5200. The DosBox version also works, but I get more fpss with this patch, and everything goes smoothier.
Thanks a lot!

If you check the actual resolution your monitor is displaying, I expect it will in fact be the resolution you set in the ini file. I suspected it didn't work at first as well, but I think the ddraw patch just upscales the max. resolution Carma puts out (640x480) by pixel doubling (ie 1x1 px square turns into 2x2 px square at a 1:2 scale factor), effectively 'zooming in' the image to match the set resolution.
