korell: A friend of mine can't even get TDR2000 to boot up on his new PC. No matter what we've tried to do to get it running we can't, and even GOG support couldn't help him to get it running. He got it on the free giveaway at launch, though, so it's not like it cost him anything. He's on Windows 10 Home x64, same as me, but his PC is newer. 1070Ti I think, and an AMD CPU (not sure which one), whilst I'm using a 980Ti and an Intel i7-6700K, and it seems to run perfectly for me.
We tried various compatibility modes, disabling his second monitor, unplugging USB devices, installing legacy DirectPlay, installing DirectX 9.0c, installing and running as administrator, and even trying to use dgVoodoo as a wrapper for the game's DirectX 7 instructions, but nothing worked. Then he tried it on his old PC and it worked straight away with no tweaking.
Well i also could not get tdr2000 boot on my windows xp with integrated graphic card nvidia geforce 6150 until i changed the render device on carmageddon tdr 2000 advance settings which was under tools then options to Microsoft Direct3d Hardware acceleration through Direct 3D. And i also had to use what i mentioned before to make the game run.
