NPCs say really odd things, like "you look quaint today, with the dark beauty of a hero in an old romance novel."
and then just casually move on to their next line. I don't enjoy getting hit on by men, thanks, Anyway to turn this behavior off or should I just try and get a refund?

This sim is set in the European high society mileu of several hundres of years ago, when men were foppish, affected, even androgynous. This was often a pose designed to appear rather scandalous just to be unconventional, no more so than France, with its capital of "Gay Paree", when the term had a far different connotation. This was the era of the Marquis de Sade, who set a new standard for decadent, debauched, and depraved. Kinda reminds one of today's woke leftist lunacy.((--;))
