As of the time of this post, Achievements are still not showing up in Galaxy after multiple restarts... anyone else having this issue?

No, it has been fixed by GOG on 22 December 2020.
It's a typical GOG issue that happens sometimes to newly released games. We call it the "invisible achievements bug". :)

By the way, when will Call of the Sea finally receive an update on GOG? Steam got the patch almost 3 months ago. Really disappointing!!! :(

I bought Call of the Sea day 1 and really want to start playing it. But i wanted to wait until the game will be updated on GOG.

The dreaded "oh, we forgot we released the game on GOG" scenario ;)

It gets really tiring having to chase down updates for games you buy on here... some devs/publishers are great, but some games I bought never even got a single update... and that's recent titles, not old stuff Just had this happen today with Horace... Achievements are empty in Galaxy

Yeah, and as you can see, she's gone with the wind. Maybe "the team" is too busy looking for excuses. :(
We paid the same price as Steam customers and are treated second class. In this case it's even third class when i look at that link above. xD

Any ETA on the patch? Tbh, it's getting ridiculous by now.. I can't play the game in the current state because of the immense mouse smoothing and this weird lag when the caracter moves due to motion sickness. The patch fixes all that.

You already released the fixes for Steam users on 21 dec 2020 (!) and the customers here at GOG are still waiting. A dev confirmed that the patch should release here soon, too. But thats again been two weeks by now without any update.

I also don't understand at all what is taking so long. Are the versions that different for the different platforms? I can hardly imagine that.. other indie developers manage to roll out their updates on every platform within a few days, too.

I'm really not a "hater" or someone who gets upset with every little thing, but I'm starting to feel ripped off. I guess its true and the ppl who buy their games here on GOG really often are second class customers. It's not just the support with patches, but communication is also often dead here. At least major announcements or other important infos could be shared.

I don't want to sound like a Karen, but if nothing has happened by the start of next week, I'll request a refund and leave a bad review :/
