I'm playoung GoG Version of CoJ 1. The game is crashing always at the same point in Episode V. when running thru the Mine with falling Rocks from above. At a certain point the game is loading the next section and than it crashes.
I'm running the latest version of Windows 10.

Anbody an idea?

are you using DX10 mode? it always crashes for me unless i use the DX9 version

I'm getting exactly the same issue. I've tried playing around with the graphics settings, but nothing seems to be working.

How do I change it to DX9?

there should be 2 executables for the game, one normal one (thats the DX9 one) and a DX10 version, if they aren't on the desktop try looking in the games folder where its installed

Thank you for this response, saved me from rage quitting, lol. The DX10 version got me past the issue.

Sadly using DX9 didn't solve that problem for me. Any other suggestions what might help here?

Go to control panel, sound, and change your sound to 48000hz . This solved the crashing issue for me ^^
