I recall you have to do the first one while having a well selected... But I'm not sure.
I definitely recall it has something to do with clicking on a well.

I had some problems remembering the cheats aswell, the money can be quite handy on the later missions :P

Right click on a well, then press alt + k to enable cheats.
Press Alt + C while still focused on the well to get more money, can only be used if you have under 5000.
Press Alt + V while still focused on the well to win the map Instant, The Victory promt will come after you left click out of the well.
