I'd like some clarification on this part of the game description:
"Multiplayer notice: The DRM free version of Brutal Legend is single-player only."
So... does that mean that this version of Brutal Legend doesn't have multiplayer in it at all?
If so, I gotta say, that rather defeats the point of it. I mean, the single-player is fun and all, but at its core this game was designed to be a multiplayer RTS. The single player mode is, in fact, largely a tutorial for random map and online play.
As a sidenote, the words "Real Time Strategy" really ought to be in the description blurb somewhere. Too many people have been misled into thinking that this is entirely a solo game when a big part of it is managing a band. Look at the reviews! Most of the people who complained the most seem to have expected a different genre of game than they got.
Protip: This game is like Sacrifice. You control a powerful character, but your purpose is to lead, not to win battles alone.
