So for those of you who haven't been following it, Broken Sword 5 now has a release date. Actually, it now has two release dates, because at some point they apparently decided to turn it into an episodic game. They promise that "Thanks to your support, we have been able to be hugely ambitious – each episode is a full sized game in its own right," and people who backed enough to get the game will get both episodes.

Episode 1 will be released on December 4, Episode 2 will be released in January 2014.

I wonder if GOG will offer the opportunity to buy the whole season at once or will they sell both episodes separately. I'm also wondering if GOG will sell it at all before both episodes are out.

I imagine GOG will sell both episodes as one game (like other episodic games on here) since all four BS are on here I hope we'll see the new game on GOG at its release date.

It says it's a "Season Pass", what does that mean?

To me, it sounds like a limited-time offer, or limited time use.

In context of episodic gaming season pass means that you buy all episodes at once. The game will be published in two episodes one in December and second in January. Limited time offer is the 20% discount which you get if you pre-order.

I'm really looking forward to this, it's even the first time I pre-ordered something from GOG.
Will I be notified when the game becomes available for download or do I have to check every now and then on the day of release?

Does the gog release include the Linux version of the game, or allow you to get it?
