Hey,
i've just got BS1 on the winter sales, everything was going fine but when I got to Ireland and tried talking to the men sitting next to the hay stack all voices dissapered.

Tried loading an older save and start the game again but all voices are gone. The music and other sounds works fine.

Can someone help?

I don't have a save with these guys around, but do you have voice acting of e.g. Maguire in front of the bar or the barkeeper?

Just to be sure, have you checked the Speech volume in the Audio settings?
Try changing the language and check if there's voice acting then.

All the English voice acting is stored in the speech_e.dat file. Maybe it's corrupted somehow. To be sure, I'd download and reinstall the game again (and keep the saves of course). And before, check your hard drive for inconsistencies.

Ha! Changing languages and back worked for some reason.
