For the most part the game has run really well, but I've noticed that the ends of the cutscenes get skipped every time. I've made sure I'm not touching my mouse or keyboard.
It's not a huge deal, but it is a little disappointing. Has anyone had the same issue and managed to fix it?

I'm really sorry that there are other people have the same problem. The cutscenes are important to carry the story forward. Unfortunatly, I don't know any solution to fix this problem. However, I would be interested in a fix.

I finished the game and moved onto another one. I noticed some other odd issues. Do you use a touchpad by any chance?
Did you two encounter the problem while playing Director's Cut version, or the original?

Yes, I played the game on my laptop. I should give it a try on my desktop pc to double-check the cutscene issue. Maybee, that's already the solution.

Which other odd issues have you noticed? Have you already reported them in the forums?

I encountered the problem by playing the Director's Cut version. Last time I played the game before buying it at GOG was around 10-15 years ago using a native ScummVM installtion not having this issue.

Thanks for the advices. If I have time to check I'll write another response.

I'm wondering if maybe it's something with certain touchpads? The other issues I've had were in other older games where it was almost like something would get stuck. I'd recently played Temple of Elemental Evil, and it would scroll to the top or bottom of certain screens without being touched after the two-finger scroll gesture was used at any point.
The cutscenes always seemed to break if I'd adjusted the volume, using the gesture, while the game was running.
I'd played plenty of other games with touchpads before, but this is the first laptop I've had that uses multi-finger gestures for things like volume and scroll.
