Joffe20: Would Be cool if it happens but i doubt it. Hope it does since i have all the other Broken Sword games on GOG as well a physical copy of Broken Sword IV but that's a nightmare to get to work modern computers
I run BS4 on my win 7 64 with no problems as long as I boot into windows with 1 core.
what other problems do you have.

Sorry for the late reply just got back from my trip to Germany but thanks to your advice i also have gotten it to work flawlessly on my pc
yeah, I would love it if it appeared on gog.. love the first two, third is acceptable once you get used to it... hope the fourth is the same..

I kept wondering why they abandoned the old style, even the newer games can be made to look great in cartoon point-and-click style.. look at runaway for example.

PS.
If anyone knows any similar newer games, let me know..

Cheers!
I still have all of them retail & working but I also have the first three GOG versions too, I'd like the fourth aswell because I did enjoy it.

I by far prefer the original two, the style, the story & everything is what made the Broken Sword series, the first & I think the only time I played through Broken Sword 3 I wasn't very keen on it, I felt it was ruined in the series but alas maybe it grows on me, I'm not sure it's still what I'd consider the disappointment of the series, yet I enjoyed the fourth & I'd definitely like to see thr fourth added to GOG, it works fine once you boot with a single core... Quite annoying that can be but it's a known problem with a known solution, if anything that has got to up it's chances.

wow gog has just listed broken sword 4, I wonder if they fixed the dual core problem.
Wish I knew the promo was coming. Bought the 2nd game for the full price 2 days ago. But then again, it's money for the developer and GoG. So I guess it's all good.
Anyone know if the characters are still black in BS 4, or if this has been fixed in the gog version, kinda loath to buy a broken sword game here after the problems I had with BS3, couldnt get that to run at all, had to go and buy a XBOX version, then found a retail boxed PC version that ran perfectly.

yes the black characters are still there, need to boot in windows with 1 core to get rid of them.
Thanks for the heads up, guess I'll pass on this :)
