Just bougjht and downloaded Broken Sword Directors Cut. I've read that there is the original version and I can see it in the goodies folder, but don't know how to download it or run it.
Also, I/ve been playing the Dircector's Cut version and the mouse jumps off the screen for no apparent reason. Anything I can do to stop this?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what operating system you are using...I don't know why the original version isn't downloading for you. Pretty sure all I did was simply click on the link in the goodies folder. So I'm not exactly sure why it isn't working for you. And I don't know what's happening with your mouse cursor....It didn't do that with me. And just for the record, it is a good idea to download the original BS1 if you can...It is better and a more rewarding play through than the director's cut.

And the erratic mouse is still a problem. There does not seem to be any pattern to its decision to move off the screen. Annoying for sure.

Not sure what happened to my original reply.
I am running Windows 10. I can see the file in the Goodies folder and I believe that I have downloaded it. But I can find no icon or file that will lead me to where it went and hence have nothing to open. ???

With my installation, rather than adding it to my gog galaxy folder on C, it added the original to the main directory of my D:. Navigate to your broken sword directors cut folder in gog galaxy, and find the !downloads folder. Install it from there and be sure to click on options to change the install directory.

I did find the original Broken Sword and downloaded it. I have been playing it and the mouse issue is the same on this as in the Director's Cut. I will finish this version and then go onto Broken Sword 2. If I still have the mouse issue I will delve into more fully. I sent a technical request to GOG and they gave me some things to try, but as I told them they were a little out of my computing abilities.
Thanks for the help everyone.
