If we buy Bright Memory on GOG now, will we get Infinite for free? That seems to be the case on Steam, so does that also apply on GOG?

Was looking at it, and wondering the same thing.

If anyone knows (fellow user or community manager, etc..) please help with this.

Cause i really don't wanna have to buy this 2 seperate times (gog and steam); just to get the game and the new release, which is tbr.

When you start the game the first time you'll get a message from the devs saying thank you for the support etc. and it does also say that everyone who bought the game will get Bright Memory: Infinite for free when it's available. So I'm pretty sure it will happen here too.
Yes this will also happen on GOG!
It’s confirmed on the forum.

GOG.com Team:
"Bright Memory Episode 1 will be available for a cheaper price during the In Development period with the intent to raise the price at full release. This is to reward and encourage those who invest in Bright Memory for the long term during In Development. "

Sorry about that, Uhurunuru.
A problem when I posted my translation, I didn’t put the right text.
but GOG is not my source.
I saw that those who bought "Bright Memory" receive "Bright Memory Infinite" for free.

thank you karnak.

That says nothing at all about getting Bright Memory: Infinite, it only states the price will be higher for Bright Memory, after full release.
This "Demo", will be £10 after the sale, and that is exactly what your quote is talking about.

Nothing is said in that quote, about the newly announced "Full Game" called Bright Memory: Infinite.
Also, one question i have:

If we buy episode 1 as they put it of this game, which is the current game in GOG, will we get the full game upon release?

From the game's steam page:

"From here on out, I will no longer be developing Bright Memory: Episode 1 any further, but I plan on making regular “experimental” additions of various new features, etc., which players will be able to try out. Once development of Bright Memory: Infinite is complete, it will be distributed as a separate game, but those who have already purchased Bright Memory: Episode 1 will receive a special “100% off” discount coupon for Bright Memory: Infinite prior to its release."

I suppose this will apply to GOG as well. I guess it'll be something like what happened with "Cultist Simulator" when it was launched. For a limited time players could buy a "infinite" edition which enabled access to every DLC the dev decided to release. After that time evry DLC would have to be bought separately or players would have to buy the "Anthology Edition".

Yes, but I haven't seen anything officially confirming this will happen on GOG yet. Given that no one from GOG or the dev has announced anything here, I wouldn't count on it. I don't think I'll bother buying it here because of that.

Apparently the issue depends on "Playism" publishers.

Here's a screenshot of the ingame message from the devs that should give everybody all the info that is needed.
