Bought the Deluxe Edition, actually Brigadors main selling point was the music (in my case).
And after the purchase I see the soundtracks come only in MP3 format.

Apparantly one has to assume it's just "low" quality unless stated otherwise. Bummer, because on Steam they apparently updated it to include FLAC, should be here the same, but it's not. Somewhat disappointing.

I came here looking for information on this, so thanks for mentioning, despite your disappointment which I completely understand.
This is exactly why I am wary of buying any kind of soundtracks or audio on here, because when they fail to mention the format half the time, I assume it's MP3 and 90% of the time I am right, which I made a wise choice being wary of such.
I will just stick to buying the standard version of the game because of this.

I absolutely refuse to buy MP3s.
I would rather spend extra buying the soundtrack on the artist's Bandcamp page, despite it costing more combined, because I don't really care about the audiobook that much, and even then, that's another thing I would want in FLAC.
The Uplink EP is at least free on Makeup and Vanity Set's Bandcamp, so you can go grab that in whatever format you want.
Also, more money goes to the artist buying it directly from them.

When, or if the DLC Upgrade for the title is cheap enough or on sale, and only after it is mentioned it is available as FLAC is when I will care about the audiobook.

Would be appreciated in the devs could update the GOG version. Can't imagine it'd be difficult to update audio files for such a DLC.

Agreed about buying lossless for game OSTs.

@AZaph_gog: Yeah, the volumes are pretty good, ofc, but since I couldn't find any infos on the format, I felt it was necessary to let others know.

@quoth09:
Yep, if its not mentioned, it's a bad sign, and it's not always sure it's at least 320 kbps, but in this case it is.

Thanks for the info about the Uplink EP, since I already paid for it I might get it from there for free.
Right, Bandcamp offers the most with their multiple formats and streaming, plus Bandcamps cut is only 15%. Good for the artists and the customers.
But over the years I have already spend hundreds on Bandcamp purchases, can't buy everything there just for the sake of supporting the artists, or my wallet might complain someday.

Brigador and its DLCs are currently discounted on Steam, too. But Steam is Steam, ofc.
Still, It might be worth mentioning that on Steam soundracks can be bought and downloaded without having to own the respective games.
Anyway, that's currently the best value for money - for the music -, the audiobook doesn't say anything about the quality, gotta be in MP3 then.

@Coreda: Right, they should hop to it! ASAP! As an incentive to attract potential buyers that'd be totally worth it, instead of putting some people off.

If I recall correctly, the music streaming service Deezer has the Brigador OST available in both MP3 320 kbps and FLAC 1411 kbps. You may be able to get the FLAC files if you sign up for a premium trial and use a download client for the service.
*ahem* Deezloader *ahem*

Still, it's a shame that the OST isn't available on GOG in FLAC.
I'd rather give money to the developers and artists through GOG than through Steam.

One of the dev team speaking here. We're looking into getting the FLAC option up on GOG.

Hey OP, the FLACs for all four albums should now be available on top of the original mp3s.
