Hi guys! We actually just found out that this forum existed, so we're going to go through and catch up on all your threads. Thanks so much for supporting Brigador: Up-Armored Edition!

I'm Karl Parakenings, "karlnp" on the steam forums and Twitter. I'm the programmer on Brigador currently.

If you have technical issues, please post on the Steam Technical Issues board just for centralizing the places we can respond to quickly. I've opened it up so non-Steam-owners can post as well.

Hey! I'm Hugh Monahan, "HughSJ" on here and twitter, Boss Tweed" on Steam. I'm the co-founder of Stellar Jockeys along with my brother Jack, and I did the game design and some of the writing (mostly Efi).

I'll do my best to frequent this forum and answer any questions you have. Cheers!
Well, then let me be the first on GoG to congratulate you on a job well done as far as the game is concerned. To my own shame I've got to admit that I only recently got around to play it, but hey, better late than never. It's bloody awesome.

It's surprisingly deep, there's a lot of vehicles and guns to toy around with, and the lore is excellent (three cheers for whoever came up with the spacer offspring balut, that was deliciously wicked...). It's a crying shame the game kind of flew under the radar. It reminds me of the good old stuff, particularly early mechwarrior titles with a dash of syndicate.

I saw on the steam boards that some new vehicles were in the pipeline. Any ETA when they'll hit the GoG version?

There's 7 new ones, the Swede, Sparrow, Sledger, Citadel, Paver, Bullfrog, and Duke. Should be in the PC version now, Linux is comin soon. Still tryin to fix Mac, but we're getting there.
Thanks for joining the GOG forums! Loving the game so far.
The only thing I miss a little bit is some form of weapon/system-overheating mechanic, like in the Mechwarrior games. Do you have any plans to add this or other gameplay enhancing features, besides of more vehicles/equipment?

Mh, they're not in the most recent GoG build, as far as I can tell. (1.3.2A). Are we missing a patch here?

In the sense that the GOG build is behind the Steam one, yes.

So back to the original question. Any ETA on when they hit GoG?

They already do this by having some weapons have a count down to use again.

No. It's just me doing most of this stuff, so I make it a habit not to give ETAs. Soon.
Hello karlnp and HughSJ! I'm pulling out your precious work on a beamer with an xbox controller. Plays fabulous. My jaw dropped when I saw what you can still buy in the game. The vibe of driving a fucking car with a high powered fighter cannon mounted on is just like in the best action flicks of the 80s, although Battle Robots are the best, always :-) I play music from the NewRetroWave youtube channel too, fits perfectly.
It's way too cheap. Must buy the upgrade to Enhanced Edition ASAP.

Yeah, but i can still fire 1800 rounds with the Banshee without cooling, for example. There is much room for more complexity anyway (e.g. energy distribution between movement, shields, weapons; upgradeable parts etc). However, it's still a marvellous game with a huge amount of playable vehicle/weapon-combinations.

Soon as in days or weeks? :)

Lots of Brigador GOG players still waiting on patches... I hope this doesn't become a recurring theme. Love the game.
Eh, you should know by now the release/update/dlc lag IS a recurring theme. That's just how the cookie crumbles when you have two storefronts of wildly different visibility and popularity. If you support underdogs, you should get used to it!

Stellar Jockeys: thanks for such an incredible game and taking the time to interface with your fans, it says a lot. Haven't had this much fun with an isometric shooter/vehicular combat game in a loooong time. Sometimes I think, vehicle/weapon/pilot variety aside, there's not much to do (in terms of objectives and meta game content), but then I remember that that's totally okay, mainly 'cuz once you jump into a map and start maneuvering/blasting it all feels so right and addictive, and that's what the game's all about. And you guys have polished Brigador beautifully. The art and design is distinctive and intricate, the gameplay is slick and perfectly responsive to the player. Ahh. Just a great job.

No, we shouldn't get used to it. If a game here is neglegted by the devs then it shouldn't be sold. It's a bad practice and must be labeled as such.
