I picked it up yesterday for $8.99 with the discount. The discount is now over but the game is still $8.99 for some reason. Did they just permanently lower the price? from $9.99?

Yes, I have to say this service is putting me off using GOG in the future. If you advertise a pre-order, then it's important to try and match your competitors for release time.

If you can't do that (and I can totally understand the many factors which could lead to that), you should keep your customers updated. There are 2 and a half hours of April 19th left here.

What a shame. Seems like Amanita dont give a damn about its customers. At least you, guys, can post an excuse, and explanation. Never buying your game again, you do not deserve it.

Where is all this anger coming from?

It's just a little late. Sure, I also want it bad.... but even if it comes tomorrow, I still will have fun playing it.

It is not anger, it is disappointment. Why are you so sure, You have exact time from their press team? Then i do not understand why they have't told that by themselves.
It is very late, according to inital press release on GOG.
You have to keep a word (or make good excuse, and do better), or you dont worth a thing
