Badmofo figured out a way to restore hit particles missing since version 1.0 and I fixed the defunctional CIA mediator, so here is the new Unofficial Patch:

Restored particles when hitting people and metal, thanks to Badmofo.

Oh cool it works with the gog version you say and you are gonna keep fixing the game?
Anyway probably gonna need to start a new game right?
Because i don't know if the patch works when i already played the game a little and would want to use a save state.

Okay i just tried it the patch and it works didn't try a new game.
Just loaded the game and i've seen you added some map markers extra right?
Don't know if the sparks were there before but i tested the knife on a car since i think it has metal and sparks are visible if that was the intention also shooting a human shows some blood when hit by a bullet.

The map markers are an old addition, but the sparks and the blood is new! Badmofo restored them from the 1.0 version :).
