Christophoros: Could someone reupload uncut mod v.1.1 for BloodRayne 1? I'm curious how the game was supposed to look originally. All the links are dead.

Edit: ok, I've found it. One of the links wasn't really dead ;)
What does the 1.1 uncut mod do, and where did you find it?

there are serveral mods for both games.
some links are still active here on gog in some threads.

all mods do the same:
they change some textures and put in ss runes or swastikas instead of a triskele or something else.

I also found a mod to make Rayne naked.
it is combined with the swastika mod so both works fine, the correckt flags and symbols and no clothes for Rayne

Can anyone confirm or deny if the censorship mod will work for a game already in progress? I don't want to risk corrupting my save and having to start a new game.

The mod contains uncensored textures which are copied into the game folder alongside the original files. No files will be changed. An entry inside an .ini file tells the program which texture pack to use. So the savegames are unaffected. To undo the modification just delete the corresponding entry in the .ini file.

The BR2 Uncut Patch removes the voices from Rayne, Minions and others from the Cutscenes.
When i restore the original W32ENSND.POD, all voices are back.

i will have a look at it.
maybe it has to be fixed to the gog file.
maybe they changed it a bit.
it was originally made for the retail version and ther eit worked

That's the GOG version is a little different.

File: W32ENSND.POD has a size of 292 MB and has voice files : MP3, LPB, WAVES.

Some textures are in the file , W32ART.POD. I unpacked both PODs files and replace textures from uncut patch. It should work well, maybe there is a simpler method for it by mod launcher or add some line in ini. cofing.

Backup LANGUAGE.POD and then replace LANGUAGE.POD with the original W32ENSND.POD.

The POD mounting order in BR2 cannot be modified, so modders have done that to reduce the size of file that needs to be transferred.

I wanted to look at it the next weeks, but it wouldnt be any different than your solution.

it works just fine, flags have swastikas and the sound is also there.

yes it will be useful.

now there is also a nudemod fpr that game including the swastikas.
Rayne and some other female characters are now nude or have les clothes on.

anybody interested ?

the sound works now fine.

does that mod also work with the Steam version of BR1&2?

EDIT:
Well, doesnt seem to work for BR2 let alone because of how the file sizes of the pod files are.
When using and overriding it there are cutscene voices and stuff missing. The Steam version W32ENSND is 300mb big.
And no, the W32ART.POD from Andres87 will probably also not work because the one in the Steam version is around 1.8GB big, uploaded one is only around 450mb big though.

Cant I just rename it to UNCUT.POD like in BR1 and make a pcpod.ini? Maybe the game will automatically use it then since its the same engine? BR2 doesnt have a pcpod.ini in its directory by default unlike BR1.
