Blood II crashes just when I start a new game, I've tried to run it with admin privileges and I've disabled crossfire on my ATI 4870x2 card.
Any hint?

i get the same with I7 980X and 2x Geforce GTX480+285
What resolution did you set the game at?

McTecman: What resolution did you set the game at?

I've tried different resolutions. No luck
Now I've managed to get the game run at 640x480 and then I've raised the resolution, but it still crashes randomly during the first level, It's just unplayable

If you run the game and go under Advanced in the launcher, what do you have ticked / not ticked? Specifically, did you try disabling DirectX 6 commands?
I've disabled DirectX 6 commands and from a quick test it seems to work. Are those for some special effect or something?
Thank you, I'll try the game some more before ticking the thread as resolved
Well from my personal experience it's really touchy about:
* DX6 commands
* Resolution (I can run it on my laptop at max 1440x900 just fine, but I cannot run it at 1680x1050 on my desktop, I need to lower the resolution)
Some users also experience trouble (like the weapons shaking as if the player character was having seizures) if they don't limit the maximum FPS to 30). I think there's some threads in this forum covering that.

Yes I'm experiencing the shaky hands problem too...
"Clent MFC Application has stopped working"
I've disabled DirectX 6 but Is till run into this randomly when a level loads. I thought it was a problem with certain resolutions but it still persists. It also happens when I quit willingly, apparently.

Windows 7 64-bit

I have this same issue. It's a real moodkiller.

Forcing the game process to single-core affinity helps, but crashing still happens, mostly on loading a new level.
