LouisCyphre: Okay, so I did something a little more direct. I manually took out the Music files from the Directory. Didn't delete them, but the game can't access them.

And what do ya' know? The Game works now for the most part. It will still crash sometimes, but not nearly as often. Some other sound files must cause the crash. But I can't play the game completely mute and I save often enough that the crashing doesn't impact me that badly.
Well, if that's the case, you can disable the music by changing how DOSBox accesses the CD information.

In the dosboxBlood.conf file, change the imgmount info under the autoexe section change:
imgmount D game.inst -t iso
to:
imgmount D game.gog -t iso

Doing this will cause Blood to play the midi tracks rather than the CD audio tracks.
Also try running HD diagnostics on your hard drive......hopefully no bad sectors.
I just tried playing it without any sound (disabling all sound in the Setup file) and it still crashed.

So, it could be an input buffer overflow.

Have you tried disabling your mouse yet?
I turned mouse aiming off, didn't touch the mouse and it STILL crashed. I even completely unplugged the mouse.

Sigh.

Well, I'm out of recommendations, other than maybe try redownloading and reinstalling.
Did that too, this is my 2nd install of Blood.

Appreciate your help dude.
This isn't one of the specific issues targeted, but if you're out of ideas then you should try the more recent build of DOSBox posted here, just in case it helps.

A custom DOSBox build to improve the support for Blood
Okay guys, I even went to the extreme of disabling my video card. STILL crashes.

I don't think GOG tested this at all. I have a pretty standard setup.
Did a Clean Boot and ran it, ran fine for a few minutes and still crashed. Tried to run it again, still crashes randomly but I got this: http://s1103.photobucket.com/albums/g466/3stest2501/?action=view&current=dosboxfmchip.png

IIRC, the FM chip relates to your music card that plays the midi sound. Are you running Shadowcat's DOSBox build, or are you back on 0.73?
I don't see how that custom dosbox build would fix anything as that's related to simply replaying CD music. But to humor you I tried it, and guess what? Still crashes.

Tried re-installing Blood for the 3rd time, I went into Setup and the sound setup works fine. The game simply crashes randomly.

I've done everything possible, and this not only effects Blood but Redneck Rampage. Same exact problems.

It certainly looks impressive.
