So I got Blood running on DOSBox and runs great. controls are fine. but every time I start a game, the music is too loud. and the volume control in the game doesn't work. the sound effects work when I change the bar. but not the music. Its too loud and want to know how to turn it down. cause Its not working no matter what I do.

I've had a problem with this as well on different computers. DOSBox doesn't seem to have a volume control for mounted CD images. I could be wrong though.

A hackish fix would be to load the oggs up in Audacity (or another sound editor) and reduce the decibel level of the track itself.

or you use
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/blood_series/a_custom_dosbox_build_to_improve_the_support_for_blood
which has volume support for blood cd audio

alternatively you can edit the configuration file used by gog.
add mixer cdaudio 50:50 before the line with blood.exe (but after the imgmount line)
