In the original Blood, could anyone tell me what those green and red square numbers on the bottom right of the HUD, below the gargoyle head mean?

On the attached screenshot they are 38 and 28 respectively.

Thanks

Aha... I was wondering where that goes. At least the manual should have explained it, or it should be put in a more intuitive place.

Thanks.

EDIT:
It does light up when the corresponding weapons are selected, but still it should have been more obvious.

The manual leaves out alot to be explained. Like the immortality mask, you don't know when it'll wear off since there is no visual or audio cues.

There is a visual cue. If you are playing in third person view (press F7) Caleb grays out. When the back of his head changes pink, you are mortal again. It's a bit more noticeable when you are playing in a Bloodbath and a gray man is running at you.
I will never understand though why the hud of all things has the game version number on it.

Probably as a placeholder to weight out the difference on the right side with the bomb types.
