When I try to load a saved game, I get the error "Failed to load save game. Save's expected game file doesn't match currently loaded."

What gives?
This happened to me after the game was updated through the GOG client. Might have to disable automatic updates while playing this game

In the main menu bring down the console and type developer 1. Then load your saved game. Save it again (replacing the save.) Then bring down the console again and type developer 0.

That save should work. If you have more than one save then repeat loading and saving just remember to turn off developer mode when you are done.

On my QWERTZ keyboard it was the ^ key I had to press when in the main menu.

No luck for me... The Hungarian keyboard layout is almost the same as the German, but I dont have that key, and pressing the "0" doesn't work. Any suggestions? (I have attached the hungarian layout.)

PS: I tried the "Alt Gr + 3" key combo, but still nothing.

Try "Alt Gr + 7"
Still nothing. (I tried all the number keys with Alt Gr.)

Instead of AltGr try using Ctrl + Alt + number (3 = ^).
Doesn't working... :/
Maybe use Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator to re-map your keyboard and swap § with the `~ layout?

After all tries I switched the keyboard layout to US EN... and yeah, after that I was able to bring down the console menu.
