okay so I've played the first cryptic passage level many many times and never before have I seen this. (pic below.) there was wallpaper all across the level within that building with that werewolf / priest/beast artwork all over it, but most of it did not have a pink background like in the picture. some of the artwork appeared to be moving even. I'm hoping someone has some kind of explanation...?
(I also noticed some walls and rounded objects were all gltiched / messed up, as in they had the appearance that they were spinning around really fast or something IDK it was weird).

Cryptic Passage uses alternate tile.art files than stock Blood. It probably didn't swap them out correctly before Cryptic Passage started.

Try running this bat before you start CP

REN TILES007.ART TILES007.AR_
REN TILES015.ART TILES015.AR_
REN CPART07.AR_ TILES007.ART
REN CPART15.AR_ TILES015.ART
thanks but I actually just figured out the problem...
I was running my Cryptic Passage saved game from the regular blood exe. file. I then tried it again and actually launched with the cryptic add-on shortcut this time, and it was normal / fine.
:)

That would do it too.
