I get the follow crash Window (attachment) if I try to start it.

My specs Core i5 2500K + AMD 7970 + Windows 7. The same problem occures on my notebook (Core i5, Geforce 525M + Windows 7).

I tried all compatibilty options and I'm a little bit disappointed that a bought game doesn't work. The same problem is with Shogo.

I know you said you tried all the compatibility settings, but I just want to make sure you've also tried to turn off the music from the game launcher. I found turning off the music made the early Lithtech engine games (Blood 2 and Shogo) run very well on my Win 7 rig.

Also, Blood 2 refuses to start at any resolution higher than 1024x768 (even though the launcher offers much higher resolutions), at least in my experience, so that might be something to try.

Right click on the shortcut on the blood2.exe, Go to properties. Then under the compatibility tab. This picture is the settings I usually use. I do this for when running Windows 7 Pro 32 or 64-bit. After you apply the changes. When you click on the .exe, The User Account Control asks you if you want to make changes. Click yes and It'll bring up the start up menu. Click "Advanced" and make sure if all options in the enable are checked. Also if you do a fresh install of Blood II. Make sure it's install path is C:\ProgramFiles (86)\GOG.com\Blood II. This usually works for me.
