I´m trying to play Blood 2, and it was ok in the beggining but then the game started being unplayable hard; the human enemies shoot you less than 0.5 seconds after they see you
and my life goes away.
The first Boss of the first level is almost impossible to beat without taking damage,
the game just doesn´t go.
I´m now stuck in a corridor with a BIG monster that uses fireballs and there is no way to run.

Hell its very frustating, the game would be much better if the IA was more realistic
Yeah, the first boss is insanely hard even on NORMAL difficulty.

However, after that part, the game becomes much easier and the other bosses are not too bad.

A very cheap trick: use the zoom mode of sniper rifle in corners and shoot just the elbow/tentacle etc. of the opponents beyond the corner. They won't shoot back and you can kill them at your leisure.

About the fireball-throwing monsers (drudge lords, I assume) it's a good tactic to run up close, avoid their first fireball and pump them with shotgun. If you close enough, they'll switch to their close attack which is easy to avoid. Also, if you shoot them with heavy weapons, they'll recoil after each hit when weakened, leaving them totally helpless.

Yes, best tactic against Drudge Lords is to stick and move. Fortunately the fireball attack is somewhat slow so you should be able to time up a quick attack then sidestep if possible. Then repeat until dead. Try not to back into corners because the fireballs have huge splash damage radius.
Good tips, but didn´t help very much. Quicksave quickload all the time, there, no health to be found, and no place to take cover, few bullets.
I have played thousands of FPS on harderst difficult.
Im start thinking that my game is bugged or something.

I was loving the game, but after that stupid boss the game became unplayable
*FRUSTATED*
Don't give up man! It's a good game really. If it's the first boss your stuck on you can restart and make sure you have more health when you get to him.
Yes I'm giving it a second walkground and now its a lot more fun!
I started everything again yesterday.

I think that maybe I was playing in hard difficult in the first time or something, the game is good now =]

The game does have its balancing issues. The first episode gets player overly use to abundant resources and health. It's important to use the knife and speed to defeat weaker enemies in order to preserve ammo for episodes 2 & 3.
Yes, the things you do in the ep1 effects the gameplay in the 2.
In the first time that I have played, I didn't know that, and became stuck. But in the second
run I knew that and the game ran fine =]
The game is pretty hard, hell I had to use god-mode just to get past the first chapter's boss (I noticed that even if I hide behind a wall very far away from him, he will still one-shot kill me).

Yeah, defeating the first boss is purely trial and error, especially on harder difficulties. If you're lucky, it'll just use its one avoidable attack and you're fine... if you're not lucky, it'll use one of its four or five unavoidable attacks and you're toast...
A fine example of quality game design! :)

What a classic.
Yeah, its a really hard game. Unfortunately, the AI is cheap, enemies can shoot you even before you turn around the corner and they have autoaim, they never miss a shot. Its nearly impossible to get through a firefight with those soldiers without getting hit. And ammo is just way too scarce. Thats some terrible design in my opinion. I keep quickloading all the time to get kind of a perfect run without getting too many hits.
Blood 1 is hard too! I was having a really hard time on difficultr 2 (forgot what it's called) and restarted to difficulty 1 (easiest) and it was just slightly too easy, so I went back to difficulty 2. It's been a while since I played a game that really made me fight to get through like this. I like it though.
I find it similar in difficulty to the first BLOOD, the first game also had some very frustrating moments, but both games deserve the playing. Many people consider the second chapter "a bad game" but i totally desagree, it´s a good one.
IMO Blood 2 is much easier that Blood. First boss is really easy, just keep running, jumping and hiding. And about Drudge Lords - hit'n'run is also good tactics, you just need to keep him melee you (but -obviously-dodge attacks).. AI is not realistic, but also not too smart 8-)
