Sorry, I was the uploader at ModDB. I thought I put the latest version of all the mods up there. Perhaps the later versions didn't have the readme file?

I am going to look into making a rez with all the Blood 2 MP maps I have collected over the years also. Should make for a pretty big rez :)

There isn't much that can be done about it. Gamespy still has DarkAct 1.5 which only works on Blood2 1.0. I wonder how many have dl'ed that and decided blood2 didn't work because of it.
Some news is pending right now at the ModDB page for this mod. Check it out after it's been authorized.

Getting very close to another release. Version 5 is right around the corner. Just updated the features list in the last news post.

This is looking good! Can't wait till it's out.
Thanks man. Version 4 was good but I've gotten a little better at coding that source code so I've gotten a lot more done this time around. I'm excited about the release myself. Trying to get a little more done. Stay tuned.
According to the Moddb page, this modification is taking on the qualities of a minor patch. I know you're eager to release something, but the longer you put it off, the better this thing gets. How much longer can you hold out?

Just a little while longer. Since my plans to add new models to the game isn't really going anywhere I feel that this version is coming to a close. I'm happy with it though. Just a few more tweaks and I think it'll be ready for the final beta test.
Just got done uploading the latest version of the mod. Waiting for authorization.

Testing your mod with the follow patch from Dege. And, dude, Extra Crispy in hi-resolution is awesome!

Ishmael rules!
Ishmael always rule, he's JoJo no longer. Reskinned Cultists and Prophets does the thing, feels like completely new enemies.

I liked slashing civilians for fast essence though but now at least you need force life out of enemies.

A lot burning enemies can crash the game if too many of them by flare pistol alt fire and you try quick load.

I don't think its caused by anything I've done. The only thing new is the burned skins and a chance that 1 of 2 fire FX will be spawned on their body. Oh and the burning screams. I don't see how that could do that. Try doing the same thing without my mod. See if it will crash.

Glad u guys are liking the mod so far.

Basically it occurs when too many enemies are shooting, I shot whole group at distance, they kill me while I'm still shooting (in middle of animation) and try to quick load while flames are on so I need to wait until they stop burning or it else game will crash. Can re-create that all the time, 100% under described cicumstances. I don't think it's mod related but wondering if some kind of Lith rendering limit hitting the spot? I mean, original game never had that much enemies on screen treated by special effects. All other weapons are fine (bullet, shells)

On a side note, original Blood 2 has also few levels where too often quick saving would result in crash upon load, I don't remember which ones, but starting from chapter 2. Also there are questionable rremnants in design, always being curious why they left that levitating block in the wall on the way to cathedral while still in city. ;-)

LOL yeah Blood 2 in general was just so rushed. Lots of weird little things like the floating box can be found here and there. The burning bodies thing is lithtech related. I had the bodies burn forever originally and had lots of crashes when changing maps. Then I reduced it to 30 seconds and then I reduced the time over and over till I stopped getting crashes while changing maps. The time i ended with was 5 seconds which is the default time. It seems the game doesn't like those FX being active in between map loads. 5 seconds seems to be the best time to use for both stability and appearance. The thing is I don't remember having any issues with this burning bodies thing back when i was using an OS that truly supported this game. That may be another issue. Are u using that new patch that was just released to get rid of mfc crashes and allow high resolutions? Try that out, haven't got any crashes since I've started using it myself.

Well I replaced client.exe with high res patched one but the game still behave the same way as unpatched on my Win 7 64bit Ultimate being the minority of people that have this game stable overall on 1366x768 unless I do something stupid (like playing for 10-20 hours or savescumming). I think latest installer from GOG have similar stability of Shogo for me. ;-)

In v4.0 there was possible to use Combat Shotgun from Nightmare Levels by loading NL rez in the main game but I see you added another auto shotgun, is Combat Shotgun anywhere in the normal game still? That was waste of potential for such awesome weapon being available in short addon level only. Also new shotgun replacement does weird tank-style steaming sounds when wielded.

I don't know if it's possible to add Revelation levels as another campaign under the Caleb and Nightmares but without cutscenes in Chosen style but that would be fine too. I heard you working on them to integrate within the mod. ;-p
