I tried every button on the controller and the wolf form doesn't jump. Now I can't finish the wolf cave dungeon early in the game. I scoured the internet but the game is old and only one person on reddit mentioned having the same problem. Then they say they solved it but didn't say how and none of the comments on the post gave a solution. I'm sure it must be a bug. Does anybody know a fix? I play using an xbox one game pad.

I went into the controls menu and remaped the buttons to what they already were and it still didn't work. If you have any other ideas can you explain it like I'm 5? I don't know what a hotplug is and your syntax is a little weird. Side note I forgot to mention is that I use a wired controller.

Update
I decided to try just pressing it on the keyboard whenever I need to jump over spikes. The wolf form jumps now but when standing in front of spikes nothing happens again. I'm standing so close to the spikes that I hurt myself if I try to get closer. Am I missing something else? Like a clue for a context sensitive spot I'm supposed to stand in that lets me jump over them?
