While most offers on GoG are somewhere between clear and incredible bargains, I must say I don't like the price tag Apogee has set here, with both titles going for $5.99. Certainly Blake Stone is a memorable old FPS for many, but just as certainly the game is inferior to Wolfenstein 3D, whose engine it uses, in both gameplay and content.
Additionally, the "second" installment is nothing more than an expansion and is also priced as $5.99. A more correct price for me would be $5.99 for both. I'm not really trying to be a cheapskate here - it's just a comment. Both Wolf3D and it's "expansion" Spear of Destiny are priced at $4.99 on Steam. Wolf3D has 6 episodes with 10 levels each, Spear has three episodes with about 15 levels each.
A total of $11.98 for two ~15 year old FPS games that are good but far from classics seems to steep a price. Go on, call me a penny-pinching mustard who fails to see the genius of GoG offering up the games in the first place. :)
AFAIK, on steam they charge 4.99 for wolf3d and spear EACH, not both of them.

That's a weird thing to say :o
I know Wolfenstein 3D was originally supposed to have the option to break guards' necks behind them, take their clothes and then start killing them out on the inside.
But seeing how Blake Stone has a working HUB map system, non-enemy NPCs that you can _TALK_ to, item dispensers to BUY FROM with the money system. Plus the engine is way more advanced with the floor/ceiling mapping other added features.
I know I love Wolfenstein 3D alot, but Blake Stone... that's the stuff for me.

That's just your opinion. Oh, and the price tag on GOG is lower than the one on Apogee's own webstore ($10).

I would agree with the posts after yours, in that blake stone isnt inferior to wolf3d in both gameplay and content, but actually superior. Wolf3d is just run and gun until you reach the next elevator. Blake has more features than that, and it has more enemies, weapons, etc.
It would make more sense to package each game for $5.99. Definitely more people would buy them.

Well, originally they were sold as individual, separate products. Maybe there will be a promotion offering both for a discount.
Well I caved in to the nostalgia and bought it. So there.
$5.99 each is not a bad price.
At least the games are still being sold. Would you rather not having access to the games.
I bought both Blake Stone games. Played the shareware version of Blake Stone years ago and loved it.
I think that prices on GOG are very reasonable.
Heck, the company that made the old Moraff games in the late 1980's/early 1990's still sells their old shareware games but they charge $20 each for them so the price on GOG is very good.
Wooah, frankenpost.
I think by the time I beat them I'll get my $12 worth. I think $6 is cheap for a game, even an expansion of a game.
penny-pinching mustard who fails to see the genius of GoG offering up the games in the first place....
Naw, your right, lol.
