I highly reccomend this first blake stone. I grew up on it and I still find it fun to play.

I COMPLETELY agree. One of my favourite games of all time, i prefered it to Doom etc by a mile.
me too :)
I still love the style of it, they took wolfenstein and made it a lot more colorfull essentialy. So many cool enemies and guns too :)
Count another point for Team: Blake. When I got my first computer, I was probably, I don't know how old, the original Descent was the first PC game I ever owned, I'm 2 weeks from being 28 years old now, but anyway, I wanted so much to play Doom, but I was still living at home back then and my Grandmother wouldn't let me have Doom. But one of my friends had this game, so he lent me the disks to it and I got it past her. It wasn't nearly as violent as Doom, but it was violent enough, and it was my secret that she didn't know about for a long time. <evil smirk> Blake has place, literally, in the days of my induction on the world of computers and computer games, and as such, I will buy both these games on the day of their release.
Yep i love this game too. i play it through dos box but i'm gonna buy it here ,then no mucking about just play straight away anywhere on my laptop. Planet strike is good and one more game for GOG to hopefully get......Corridor 7 i love that too! Wolf3d and Doom got all the accolades(and rightfully so ) but i just like these more for some reason.

Corridor 7 was such a fun game. So bloody simple of a concept. Kill all the aliens on this floor. Go to next floor. Kill all aliens on this floor. Go to next floor. Rinse and repeat. It got some many horrible reviews from like, everyone, but I loved it to pieces. There were 2 games for the Sega Genesis that were based on nothing more than the concept of killing a certain amount enemies on each level. Zero Tolerance and Zero Tolerance 2.

Another point for Corridor 7. It was a very underrated game. And it was one of the first fps games to add a network feature. Maybe gog.com should consider adding it to its calalog. :)
Aliens of Gold still remains as my favorite nostalgic shooter.

Awesome game, with a cool, sort of cheesy style, it was a futuristic wolf3d. It was so much fun when you shot a non-enemy and they would say NOT ME!!
Both Blake Stone and ROTT are my favorite old school shooters.
I think they should release Apogee's games' map editors as extras, I loved mapping for those games.

Indeed, the Blake Stone game is a true classic. I played the hell out of it during that year they played Babylon Zoo's Spaceman over and over on the radio, so each time I load the game I hear that song in my head.
I don't know if that's good or bad.
1 day to go for Blake Stone release! YaY!!
This was the first FPS game I ever played, I borrowed the shareware floppy off a friend, and I still consider it to be one of the BEST FPS games ever!
Never cared for Corridor 7, but I loved this one. Planet Strike (the sequel) is good too, basically just more of the same (much like Wolf3D/Spear of Destiny). And you get to blow up those annoying (PSSSH!) doors!
