Dear SNEG, could you please provide re-release buyers with the original version of the game as a separate entry in the library?

I think it will be fair for all customers (both old and new): those who bought the original version years ago got the re-release for free, and those who bought re-release should get the original version for free.

Please discuss with GOG the possibility of requesting a key for the original version through support with proof of purchase for the re-release.

Thanks in advance!
Though I haven't bought it on GOG yet, I read that re-release includes old version. May be not as another game entry but in the game's downloads section.

SADevil: snip
Yes, it's included as an extra in the re-release, but I'm asking for a separate copy of the original game in the library (it's even highlighted in the first post).

For example, as it's done with Divinty: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition: after you've bought the Enhanced Edition, you can contact GOG support and request a key for the classic version (separate entry in the library).
Dear snow_panda (or any other SNEG representative), could you please give at least any answer?

The Steam version have the classic 2001 installed inside the game folder as "Classic" inside that folder is the 2001 version of the game.

Also you can select to "run" that version at game start if you use the library of steam icon. not the desktop icon of the game.

Don't know how it works in GOG.
I got the original game back when it was available, and now I have two separate entries in my library. The old one is called "Severance: Blade of Darkness", while the new one is just "Blade of Darkness".

But with the way GOG usually works, I don't think it's possible for them to make separate entries unless you already had the game before. The old entry must have had Codemasters listed as publisher, which is not possible anymore.

I'm still waiting for an answer, snow_panda.

Is it really that hard to answer?

My mom used to say that if when I asked a question, and received no response from her, then the answer in NO.
Classis and Classic - two differ builds, with two differ avaialbel languages. And original GOG release also have additional extras. Re-release (not-a-remaster though) - dont have even a manual.
