**Solved**

So I'm trying to play with this mod but when I download the .zip and unzip it the .exe for the mod won't unzip with the other folders. I've never experienced an issue like this before. is there a fix?

also, I noticed that the exe will actually extract but it's only in the destination folder for maybe 2 seconds then it vanishes

**If anyone has this issue in the future it was caused by my antivirus. I disabled it, extracted the file and it worked fine.

For some seconds, I thought the topic subject was "goretittymod". I was like gore and titties?
I watched the video. There is so much blood in it, the video reminds me of the black knight from monty python's quest for the holy grail. :P

thats no mod, its the game with gore turned to on in the setup, just read the manual

Greetings, and congratulations on your work... I'm loving this mod so much (2016 release)! However, I seem unable to have its ingame options available, so even if the addon works great it looks like it's not really being "detected" from the game when it comes to customization. I'm playing on Windows 7 but I'm using an italian version of the game, could that be the reason why? What I find bothersome is the slow-motion death sequences, I'm not THAT much of a blood freak and they break the immersion and action to me, so to speak, so I'd like to be able to disable them. Is there a workaround, or some file I could edit to turn them off, if there shouldn't be a way to display the menu? Furthermore, even hitting F12 does nothing at all. The only other mod I'm currently using is BOD loader, which is present within the game menus. HELP please... I don't wanna be forced to uninstall it altogether =(

UPDATE: Never mind, I resolved it myself. For those interested, I needed to extract the archive in a properly named folder under a specific path (/BODLoader/Mods/GorentityMod2016), which installation notes were very shallow and generic about, to say the least. They're very poorly worded and just read - I quote - "Download Gorentity Mod 2016 and extract it". Then I launched the mod .exe from there and set the game folder as usual, and both the ingame hotkey started to work and the mod entry under Options finally appeared - however it's still NOT detected by BODLoader and isn't displayed among its mods.

All in all that readme file could have used a little more accuracy, perhaps they imply everyone is an expert of this game's modding ground, while it took me a few hours and several attempts until I could find a way to make it work... almost out of luck alone. Oh well, I guess it was well worth it still.

Hi! I am the other maker of Gorentity Mod. I just tested: Installed Severance, patched it with US patch, installed BodLoader and then installed Gorentity Mod 2016 StandAlone Installer. Everything works just fine. You DON`T have place files by hand or name folder after a specific name! Not anything like this! The Gorentity Mod instruction in the readme file is correct. Eventhough Gorentity Mod 2016 is compatible with Bodloader it is not supported by it. This is why it is not diplayed under BodLoader Mods list. If you want real Bodloader version of Gorentity you have to use Gorentity Mod 2015 BodLoader Installer version. There is no 2016 version of this. The reason why installation instructions are so generic and shallow is because StandAlone installer is so easy to install. Run Installer-Choose Severance Folder-Push Install The Mod- You are done. I send you a message via Youtube when you asked for help in the Gorentity Mod video comment but I never received an answer. But the main thing is that you got the game and the mod working! Glad you like the mod:)

I've solved a similar issue thanks to the author's help on ModDB (probably you, buttvomitor - nice name by the way ^^).

For me it was the antivirus messing with the installer. Disabling it when using the installer is key (do the same when uninstalling or you may have issues loading your save afterwards).

(actually Grim218's post above warns about that already, but I've missed it somehow!)
