I noticed the same thing. This looks like an abandoned project to me. Hopefully, I'm wrong. I noticed it because it's on sale on GOG right now in the summer sale. It looks interesting, but given that nothing new has been seen since December has me skeptical.

Most recent (BIG) Patch is now from 2 days ago!
Also: the game is constantly updated(been playing it since last year).
