I just spoke to Alumu's assistant, and he said there are some 4 locations to explore. One of them was "site of ancient magic". But then there were only 3 choices to ask about and also only 3 locations were added to the map:
* Crimson Crossing
* Broken Monastery
* Amanuel's Hoard
Is that 4th location just not implemented yet or something is missing?

Another slight visual issue - Ornate Barbute also makes beards disappear.

Details in HEAVY SPOILER:
Yes, the Mage Stronghold (just like the other 3 strongholds) are coming in DLC. The only difference is that the area of the other 3 strongholds is already in the game (see your list), while the area of the Mage Stronghold isn't yet present in the game.

In 1.2.22 alchemy interface looks better - powders / dusts recipes now appear in correct tab. But unlike potions, it doesn't show needed heat level. Is it intended or may be another bug?

Can you please implement some kind of compression for save files? They are getting quite huge (17 MB JSON for save 240 for me). It takes quite a long time to even save or open one!
Compressed save takes like 500 KB for me (with good compression). That's a huge reduction. You can use some standard compression (xz or something) if you want the file to be still easily accessible / editable for players' benefit.

Regarding the heat level of Drying recipes UI, we will get back to you within 18-24 hours. (GOG forum will probably merge the new post to this one, so make sure to check back that time.) Thank you for your patience here.

Currently screenshot of the save is stored inside JSON as base64 encoded text! That's very inefficient both for storing and for reading it.
The more saves you have, the more taxing it becomes to open a list of them to display screenshots (imagine reading all them and decoding all that base64 into images! That's also why it's slow in the load / save menu.
You can speed it up immensely by storing the screenshot as an actual image (let's say PNG) in parallel with the actual state of the game save file.
I.e. let's say there will be:
244.sav
244.png
This way reading images will be very fast and it will also take way less space. I hope you'll manage to optimize all that.
Thanks!

Regarding the drying heat level, a fix is expectable to the UI next week.

I just reinstalled it yesterday, and when I launch it I first have the GrapeOcean screen, but after that I have a blue and pink screen (see attached file) and the game dones nothing.
My config is a Dell G5 SE 2020 with a AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and a RX5600M.

You might need to reinstall the game, also deleting the %APPDATA% folder of the game too:
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\GrapeOcean\BlackGeyser
Note that deleting the above folder will delete your savegames as well. To prevent that, you can make a copy about particular savegames. We don't recommend saving the whole savegame folder, because in theory, the corrupted install can also be caused by a corrupted savegame.

I wonder if the underlying cause of shmerl's bug about slow display of a large list of saves is the same as the slow down in merchants display a list of items for sale.
I tend to sell all the drops I pick up to a couple of merchants. So towards the end of the game they have a lot of items and when you ask them to show you their wares it takes quite a while to display them. The merchant display is locked until the list is populated.
Also is there a limit to the XP a player can get. I have been playing a Templar (veteran) solo on my third run though and XP stops at 182500 level 20 even though more XP is awarded the XP stays at 182500.
