I don't want a gameplay video on YT, I want actual impressions of the game from like minded individuals with similar tastes.

How is it so far? What are your thoughts? It looks very promising. How's the gameplay loop?

Just curious.

How much you like it will depend upon how forgiving you are. If you can tolerate an imperfect game made by a development team which is trying to figure things out, doesn't have a whole lot of resources, and are probably contributing to the voice work as well the programming. . .Then there is a lot to love here. There is sincere effort and a clear vision.

Its a lot like the old Baldur's Gate, which is pretty fucking rough compared to what is being released now but still has a certain charm for those rare individuals patient enough to appreciate what it does right.

Thanks a bunch. I'll pick it up at some point, just not sure when.
I like it overall, it's fun, some bugs need to be squashed though, especially regarding the loading times. Lot of side quests you can do. It is made from a small indie studio though and it's smaller budget shows. Until I finish the game I can't really say much else other then it's been ok so far although the price is rather high for what it is.

I'd certainly recommend Solasta instead though.

I think I have access to Solasta on Gamepass, too. Thanks again!
After finishing it I'd certainly not recommend it, not at the current price. Perhaps for 1/2 of that and if you are needing RPG content.

Thanks. I reinstalled solasta last night.
Holy moly I cannot say, how much this game dissappoints me...of all party based crpgs, this is definitely the worst. I only played the final release 1.0 for 5 to 6 hours and I don't see anything, that I could tolerate. Worst writing, I would say immersion breaking, but there is no immersion. Controls are from the times of the original Baldurs Gate, so you click a million times before casting one spell. Party AI is totally stupid, lots of glitches during fights all the time. This game is literally torture.

I prefer Tyranny, Pillars 1 and 2, Pathfinder 1 and 2, the original Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, Solasta! IMO Solasta is the weakest of the mentioned titles, but it's still lightyears better, than this...

I backed that game on Kickstarter... but this needs a complete overhaul and version 4.0 before I touch this again...

I usually don't bash games, but I can hardly put in words, how this game feels to me. I found the idea amazing, so I backed this for a collectors box worth 130€ on kickstarter... playing it now - how can this game have been in early access over half a year and all these obvious issues have not been adressed?!?
I am even more dissappointed than about the fact that REALMS BEYOND is apparently not being released and a semi-scam on kickstarter xD

I reinstalled it yesterday to give it another try, but the first encounter with the king is just a ridiculously stupid dialogue, more of a parady without realy beeing a parody.. don't know if the original text is that stupid or only the german translation, which has lots of spelling mistakes.
No matter if being a rightful king or the opposite, you just don't buy this character being a king whatsoever... and when he speaks, you can read phonetics like "hahaha" and "hoho" - I was like WTF ?!? oO

Ouch.
Hi,

I finished the game this morning, when I thought I was at the third, or at worst at half. So disappointed with the length of the game, not even 30 hours, rather a little over 20 hours in the penultimate difficulty.

A lot of worries, like in many rpgs, no really high level equipment to buy, most of the resources for crafting are never used etc...

The dialogues with the king are indeed great nonsense :)

Luckily the game didn't even cost me 10€, very disappointed in the end, and these loading times....
