Im just wondering if Biomutant is getting achievements on GOG like on Steam, because i didn't see any ''Achievement''
tag on GOG's storepage. I thought maybe it's because it isn't released yet, maybe you know more. Thanks!

I was wondering the same. The fact achievements are not listed as a feature looks very suspicious, knowing how many devs don't bother adding achievements on GOG for some weird reason.

I was waiting for this game and I don't want to have a cut experience :/ But sadly, we probably not gonna get the answer before this game releases.
Wondering the same thing, however THQ has a pretty good track record of day 1 achievos when releasing a title. All their other games do, I wonder if it's just a mistep. I want to buy the game on GOG but if no achivos I'll grab it on Steam sadly.
Hello all,

May be a bit late but in case someone get here before release looking for an answer, the official FAQ confirms GoG will have achievements :

Now it is made and published - Piranha Bytes are under THQ Nordic now
Thanks for the link. I came here to see if there is pre-load on GOG.

No pre-load on Steam, which probably means no pre-load on GOG either.

I guess the release day is 26th or 27th for many. Oh well, I have work so I can fully immerse myself only during weekends anyway.

Why preload? Its a singleplayer game. And there is no point in it.

So that it would be playable immediately upon release. Some games, even single player games do that. The files are encrypted and without executables when you pre-load them and on the release day you download only the decipher for the files (and the executable).

For example Cyberpunk 2077 had this.

Although for me this is more like "would be nice, but no worries, I can wait until Friday to play this" because we will have quite a busy week at work, but I do understand that people who have been waiting for this game for years might want to play this sooner rather than later.

30 minutes for you.

Not everyone has the same ISP. Well, you are in Germany so it can be we have the same ISP. :D

But if you get 1-2Mbit/s downloads, it can take one or two days to download. For example Australia has (or had when I lived there) a horrible network. Expensive, slow and data quotas. As in, you get ADSL connection to your home (don't even dream about fibre) and you can use, say, 60GB a month. Seriously. Data limits.

Nice. According to this we are currently preloading the game and can start at 00:00, so in about three hours 15 minutes my time. I wish this article was accurate.

Yea, sucks that something as essential as the internet still isnt maintained properly. I think states should be involved. Private companies do as they please with limits, speed and pricing.

At least its coming out in a few hours and we can enjoy it. If its enjoyable. I keep my expectations low but my hopes up.

Not even need to look as far as Australia. I'm living in France and I've never had any more than 1.7Mb/s

To be fair, I never had more when I lived in Germany either.

Guess I'm just unlucky as I can't change ISP. *sigh*
