Looks good on the surface and was certainly ambitious for the devs.
Now to the reasons i got a refund:

Controls made for consoles/controller; PC KB&M players were clearly an afterthought. Button combos dont do well on KB&M.

Narrator cant be turned off completely; should have just subtitled the gibberish characters speak. Would have been more immersive. The narrator breaks immersion.

You only loot 1 item per loot drop.

Gender option was dropped before release and replaced with a default male lead. That is a step back from diversity.

Weapons and skills dont feel all that great. Its literally pew pew pew, click click click, cast a few spells until out of ki and back to pew pew pew.

The story doesnt really grip me. It goes on about pollution and then switches to a "fight clan wars" narrative. Tho this is the biggest YMMV point. Its just not for me.

The game isnt worth 60 euro in my opinion. Its more of a 30 to 40 euro game. Maybe in a year this game will be better but right now its just not as good as it could have been. I feel like the devs made a game they and only they will largely be into. Maybe they like playing with controllers or on consoles and dont mind only finding 1 piece of loot but i do not.

I hope anyone else has more fun with this game. I wish the devs the best of luck in their future endeavors.

You have a gaming PC, but not a controller? It's a quality of life improvement if you get yourself one. In some games I keep a controller in a holder I made for it so I can quickly grab it when the enter car/mount ride animation plays -- that's because I like shooting with a keyboard and mouse, but driving/riding with a controller. Games like GTA5 and Cyberpunk 2077 are good examples of games where I prefer to have both, depending on the situation in the game.

Haven't tried keyboard and mouse with this game, because this is the kind of game I would play with a controller in any case. Like Skyrim or The Witcher 3. Or Fallout if I make a melee build.

Do yourself a favour. Get a controller. If you have a console, you already have a controller. Connect that one to your PC. I don't know how good connection you get with a bluetooth dongle since I made sure my motherboard has it built-in with a huge antenna.

Doesn't matter that you refunded this game. There will be many more where playing is just more comfortable with a controller. At least some sections.

They are working on an update and said they will address this in the update.

You get more, but you have you click take all, not just take. Why do you think the prompt for "take all" exists if it would be just 1 item per loot drop? For some reason I can only see one item in that preview thing that pops up, but press Y instead of A with your controller... or... um... I guess... Q instead of E on a keyboard?

But believe you me, once you play a while loot is the least of your problems. More like what to do with all of this stuff.

Didn't see what the female version looked like so I have to take your word on it that this one is a male. I would need more contrast to determine that. I can recognise mooma and popsi since the names are quite telling and they have exaggerated features to signify gender. The juxtaposition makes it easy to recognise. But the player character is ... I don't really know. I guess if I make it more slender it's kinda feminine and if I make it strong and bulky, it kinda resembles of a male. Yeah, I can't tell so I have to take your word for it.

Combos make it fun. I guess you can play button smash if you want. Especially if you do click click click, you probably play button smash style. More fun with pew pew swoosh slash slash stabstabstab jump jump ratatatatata super wung fu kickkickkickkickkick...

Can't answer that. Although I have 40h in the game I haven't actually started the main quest line. Still waiting to start my first attack on a base. When the world opens in an open world game, I'm off. Alduin can wait.

But side quests are pretty standard. Your usual fetch quests and destroy the evil doers camp quests.

Some of your points were addressed on the update today, which is a shame that you refunded the game.

I on the other hand am having a blast, it is a refreshing game and great to just wander, but I don't want to convince you of this, if it doesn't hook you that's fine.
