Ive been trying to preload the game so i can play it the second its released and just noticed GOG shows it as released on the 24th even though its listed as 25th everywhere else
anyone know what that means?

For me GOG shows the release date as 25th. I thought since your location is USA, it might be a time zone thing (as it was with Cyberpunk 2077), but that can't be the case. The release is 19:00 CEST (Central European Summer Time) which would be even on the West Coast at 10 AM. So it should be on 25th.

Even in Alaska it would only be 9 AM on 25th.

Weird if it shows 24th for you. Perhaps they will have pre-load after all?

Just checked. Still 25th. Location: Berlin, Germany.

But hopefully my Galaxy hasn't updated yet.

same. im in florida and just checked to see if i can download it because past midnight but no dice.

Epic Games Release: 25.05.2021 – 7pm CEST
GOG.com Release: 25.05.2021 – 7pm CEST

7PM CEST = 12:00 (Noon) Central (CST).

Consoles could preload yesterday, no word on when PC's can preload the game.

Their FAQ says no preload on Steam, which I assume also means GOG.

The FAQ's do not mention preloads at all.

Lol, that is no more a Tech Question then the release date is.

There wont be any preloading...
