How can I add EAX Reverb under Vista? The option is greyed out even though I am using a X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Pro with latest drivers and latest Creative Alchemy installed. Alchemy does not even detect the game :(
You need to install and configure Creative ALchemy. Download it and read about how to configure it here: http://connect.creativelabs.com/alchemy/Lists/Games/AllItems.aspx
Scroll down, find the game and read the text :)
ALchemy doesnt auto config it, you need to do it.

Thanks for the infor, that worked perfectly. Strange though as Alchemy has configured itself fine with most other games, ahh well at least I know where to look now if any problems :)

I don't think Realtek supports EAX....not sure though unless there is someone more knowledgeable about this ...
Arkose solved it on IRC!
Look for EAX Unified

Realtek has supported EAX for a few years now. ALchemy is only for Creative cards, however, so Realtek users will have to use EAX Unified instead.

I have tracked down a newer version, 3.0, which I have uploaded on FilePlanet.
