Unfortunately I had to buy the Steam version to get Linux support. :-(

Still had the xinput1_4.dll missing issue. Copied xinput1_3 into the bin folder and renamed to xinput1_4 and it runs without a hitch. Don't get the api-ms-win error that others are seeing...
