LOL I had to laugh at the OP of this thread. BASS was THE adventure game on the miggy. I played this before I ever tried Money Island. Artwork done by one of a artists from the 2000AD comic, a brilliant story. This game had everything a good adventure game should have. I still have my original big box miggy version with the pull out comic. Only things missing today are a modern make-over (like the Broken Sword games got) and Beneath A Steel Sky II. What the heck ever happened to that?

I'd like to try this "Money Island" :P But in all seriousness, this game is a great example of a top notch adventure game.

IndigoHalo: I'm glad it was free. If I had paid a penny for it, I would have felt ripped off. My only choices in the game were: walk to a door and get told "it doesn't look like the door had been used in years" or to go down a set of stairs and be shot by a guard who never misses. It's fifteen seconds of blurry graphics. Whooo-hoo!

It took me a while but I found the brain - it was hidden behind the door - but every time I try to use it on the guard he shoots me anyway, please help

on a more serious note - loved this game, great humour and puzzles, needs lots of thinking.
Originally played it without the voice acting, glad I got a chance to play through with it.

Top of stairs where blood splatter is there is a crowbar stuck in there, pull out use; it on door to get out that part without having to get shot going down steps where guard is.
