I just started this, and I am intrigued. I would like to go on, but I can't seem to figure out what to do.

I got past the security guard in the beginning, and then I went to where the mechanic guy is (I totally forgot what his name is). I talked to him, stood on the lift to get him to leave so I could get the wrench, and then I put the circuit board into the robot shell. However, I can't get Joey to fix the Transporter robot. Whenever I ask him if he can, he says, "Do it yourself, Foster."

Now, according to the walkthrough, Joey should fix it. Is there a reason he won't? Is it because I didn't put the circuit board into the robot shell before I talked to the mechanic guy? Could it also be that I got on the lift several times before I activated Joey?

I would really appreciate any help.

You have to talk to the mechanic guy (Hobbins) and ask about the robot (to see what's wrong) and THEN ask Joey.
I see, I see. Hey, it worked! Thanks a lot.
