Hi Stargx and thank you very much for releasing Beat Hazard on GOG!
I've been enjoying the game a lot the past few days, however there's an issue that recently arose and left me puzzled. Maybe you can help me here.
I will try to provide as much details as possible, should you need any more info to make some sense of it, feel free to ask me.
First off, I am running 4 displays on my machine (Windows 10, 64bit, Nvidia GTX1070). They are configured to be displayed next to each other. Windows numbered them as follows:
[1][3][4][2]
1 - 1280x1024, 60Hz (left side monitor)
3 - 1920x1080, 60Hz (main screen)
4 - 1280x1024, 60Hz (right side monitor)
2 - 3840x2160, 60Hz (TV, mirrored from main screen)
The first (minor) thing I noticed is the game only displaying up to three displays in the graphic settings. Curiously these are: left, main and right - despite the numbering (also when disabling screen mirroring). Is running more than three screens not expected?
My issue now is as follows: When I start the game in either Fullscreen or Borderless mode it is displayed extremely stuttery at a guessed 1 FPS. Audio does not stutter, however. While this happens, the left screen starts flickering like crazy, displaying mostly a black image, sometimes flashing an image. the right screen and TV are unaffected. When mirroring the main screen to the TV the same issue arises. When the window loses focus everything is displayed fine again, however input is not accepted from my controller.
This issue began yesterday without any change to my configuration (that I know of). Rolling back the game to "Galaxy Version" 1.2 did not help, either. Due to me suspecting some kind of Windows compositor issue and past experiences with the Galaxy overlay I tried disabling it, but that did not change anything about my problem.
I hope you can help me and look forward to playing more of this indeed very good sequel.
P.S.: Is there going to be a Linux version at some point?
