Is there a way to scroll in the Navigation Map? When it comes up it centers on the planet I am currently around, but I can not seem to find a way to have the mpa move aside from clicking on one system at a time away from center to allow it to recenter itself. thank you for any suggestions you may have.

Yes, you can go to just about any system on it looking for other shops and contracts. How I found the pieces I needed for the quickdraw mech.

I've just been doing the missions in the current system till they are done and then taking a mission that transports me somewhere else. I don't see any drawbacks to this, if I plan my salvage properly and look for good stuff at every market.

I am not terribly experienced in Battletech so I don't have any desire to keep the mech loadouts to spec. I just install good equipment on the mechs as they lose an arm or so.
