I am confused in regards to melee when I target them, it shows x2 optional hit targets on the left and right from the straight line. How do you select one of the other 2 options to hit from? I've tried everything I can think of to maneuver it and don't melee there... Getting annoyed by that, also annoyed at the damn pausing every time a day ticks...

First you select your target for melee (the mech or vehicle you want to attack) then, before you click attack/hit enter, you click on whichever other point of attack is available that you want to attack from.

That part could definitely be clearer, yeah.

But I cannot, when I try it just changes the location to move but no attack option...

Screenshot if possible, please, because what you're saying doesn't make sense to me. There should be two options, here:

1) You can reach the enemy 'Mech with a melee attack (as in, you have enough movement, and the terrain where you and the enemy will be standing allows it) and when you select the melee option, you then pick the place to stand

or

2) You cannot reach the enemy with the movement or placement you have available, and all you can do is look at the terrain.

Are you saying you're experiencing something else?

During the move if you can reach the target you'll have a square around it. If you are close enough you'll also see the optional circles to melee from a few directions. Click on the Square to melee, then click on the circle for direction of attack, then click attack.

No worries, you select the move attack, then confirm, then select destination, then comfirm... It has been very useful in focusing down one side of a mech. :) Thank you very much.
