Pretty disappointed at how local saves aren't given a priority when online saves are unavailable!

Whilst I don't support the whole 'this game is terribad because of DRM' I do feel somewhat disappointed that I am dependent on being online to continue my game.

Please, can a patch be issued which saves locally then uploads post game, like most other platforms, so we can remove the reliance on being online and the appearance of being filtered through DRM-like behaviour.

P.S. I lost 2/3rds of my first Atlas due to this :(
Cloud saves are optional. You can disable them in settings. I always do this both here and on other platforms because file corruption appears to be more common with it enabled for many games.

Unfortunately, they are disabled.

I did so after I hit problems with my internet having issues so this is perhaps something specific to how the game does both?

Cloud saves are just backups of local saves in Galaxy. There is no need to use then and even if you do, the local saves have "priority". If you delete them while Galaxy and Game are running, they are deleted in Cloud, too.

Fair enough, but that doesn't explain how I couldn't save, with cloud saves disabled, and lost my progress because GOG was down.

A bug in the game, couldnt save once, too. Restarted game and saving worked again.
I had the game crash when I briefly lost an internet connection. There appears to be some bad bugs that make the gaem overly reliant on a connection. If I start the game while offline or while online it appears to work fine but if while online anything fails to sync then bad thigns happen. Hopefully they update the game with more failsafe netcode.
