Does anybody know, how to get Gauss Rifel Ammo? I have a gaussrifel in my Store, but when I have no Ammo, it`s not clever to modify a Mech with this equipment. I have not found it in the store or as salvage.
Can try systems with league ruins.
You can't get more. If you lose the ammo you get from the quest, you can't use your Gauss Rifle anymore that game.

Of course, that's only if you're not using mods. Mods can change that quite easily.

That's not true. I was able to find Gauss Ammo at Jansen's Hold in the Taurian Concordat

In the game data, Gauss Ammo has the "Purchasable" attribute set to false - you can see this in /StreamingAssets/data/Ammunition/Ammunition_GAUSS.json

You either found a bug (not hard to believe) or are remembering incorrectly.

LOL! Probably a bug. I should've bought some now that I think about it. But, I never seem to run out, so, I didn't want to waste the money

But, I specifically write down rare items I find, and the planets I find them on. and I documented that Jansen's Hold had Gauss ammo & and Banshee parts
at jansens hold the shop has nothing interest
but the missions there where hard, and i have often victors and banshees as oponnent
Shop's inventory is randomly generated. On the bottom of this page: https://battletech.gamepedia.com/Star_systems is a star map coloured by shops inventory quality (yellow is best). Also each faction have different parts to offer. There is a small chance to find rare items in systems with black market (battlefields can also have rarer items).
